It takes a community of engaged members working together to strengthen families from the start so that all children grow up to reach their potential. Join us in preventing child abuse in Iowa!
Pinwheels for Prevention:
Pinwheels have become a national symbol of child abuse prevention, representing the joyful and carefree childhood everyone should have. Community members have used the pinwheels to raise awareness of the importance of supporting families through activities such as planting pinwheel gardens, giving pinwheels to childcare providers, or asking businesses to display pinwheels as a sign of support. Most of these efforts take place in April but can occur year-round. Learn more.
